Japanese PC Engine Core Grafx II

What's the story on this? Will it run on a normal TV? Will it play US games?

Yes it will, it´s NTSC 3.58 signal and no, it won´t run USA cards, since a couple of the pins are swapped to different places on the Hucards; there are adaptors, but they are f*cking expensive and rare...It´s the Core Grafx II, basically a re-designed Nec PC-Engine (Jap Turbografx) with added A/V output-PC-Engine only had RF, so no picture if no Jap TV...There was a Core Grafx before the "II" model, wich is the same except the logos are blue instead of orange...They made the orange version to match the Super CD-ROM add-on. If you like shooters as much as I do, then this system is a must...coolest design ever IMHO, it is the size of a NES cart but bulkier, of course
