Anyone happen to have a monochrome monitor for an Apple IIc?

Mike,

iirc, any monochrome monitor will work for it as it uses the typical AV out found on ther front of a TV set. I have a Zenith screen and it works great for things like that (as seen in the Zenith Mega Drive video I have up). I'll keep my eyes out for you for one.

I know of a certain place not too far from me that has a boxed monochrome 9" Apple //c monitor, and the external floppy drive that was made to match the //c's case asthetics, also boxed... I could go back and buy one or both items they're probably still there, I wasn't there that long ago, and they've been on the shelf for a while in the As Is section.

I would be interested in both the drive and monitor. Let me know how much :)

The store doesn't open on Sundays so I'll be going there on Monday morning. I'll let you know when I get it or if it's gone already.

Wouldn't you know it, I see it there everytime I go for months and when I have a reason to buy it it's gone. Bugger! I knew it was dangerouse to go there on my own... I wound up buying a system saver for my Mac Plus, an apple CD 130, and a really nifty component stereo system that included a tape dual tape deck on which tape drive one has a five cassette sorting system. All it needs is a new belt... which will run me at least $50 because there's no way I am going to let myself try to get at the belt that is jamming the whole thing up.

There's lots of other stuff there (http://www.repc.com/)... Apple //e's, IIgs's, Apple 3.5 and 5.25" drives , Commodore 64c, a bunch of stuff... it's all stuff that'd end up being redundant to what I already have for the most part... I'd buy up some of the more interesting stuff to try selling on vendazzle or chasethechuckwagon if not for the fact that it's generally all priced just to that point where the only reason to buy it is you don't have to hastle with shipping, because it's all about the average for online prices... I havn't really seen anything new in a while. They have an ebay store, but I pretty much never buy anything that way because I always find their prices to be too damn high.

I bet you could get a pretty decent deal on a //c monitor by posting that you're looking for one to comp.sys.apple2 on usenet... could even put a plug for chasethechuckwagon and vendazzle in your signature at the end of your post.
