View Full Version : I can't set up an auction with FireFox

I'm trying to set up my first auction, but I can't get it to work using FireFox. When I go to the auction set up page, instead of a drop down menu, I got a long rectangle that changes to a greyish/blue color when I go over it, but nothing drops down. Here's what it looks like for me:

BTW, it works fine in IE, I just despise using IE, so I'd much prefer to use FF.

that's weird, i have always used firefox to do my auctions and never had a problem.

i just tried like i was going to list something, and it worked perfect.

Hey NES -

Sorry you are having probs listing an item? Not really sure what to tell you as I haven't heard of this happening for a very long time since we first launched. Are running the latest versions of FF? Have you got it working?

I just checked for FF updates, none to be found, so I guess I'm running the latest version. I'm running 3.0.6.
Also, I noticed I'm having a similar problem with Vendazzle, when I go to the "Update Contact Info/Change Password" link, I can change the first and second areas fine, but where the "Update contact info" button is supposed to be, is just the same greyish/blue rectangle. It's fine with CTCW though.

I see this works with ChaseTheChuckwagon, thanks again for the quick fix. But, Vendazzle is having the same problem as well. It's not much a problem for me as I know I can just turn off ABP and it's fine, but new members may not know how to fix it for themselves.

Mike, this is the exact same issue I described a month or so ago. Exact same thing for me.

Mine still does not work. I troubleshot as much as I could and gave up.

I can't get my pictures to upload. It keeps saying they uploaded but they never show. Im using firefox also.

actually I can't seem to upload with internet explorer 7 either. I can upload pictures to other sites though. I have tried turning off my firewall, turned off popup blocker. Nothing worked.

Think I got my problem worked out. Think I had a partially corrupt image. after resizing and resaving it with gimp it uploaded. Sorry .

Yep, adblocker is what was causing my issues as well. Works fine now. :)
