that Hero Jr. is def early for it's day (80s). in a college robotics course, i worked with some lego mindstorm stuff and programed a few things on the "brain" in IC4 that hooked up to a number of different sensors - optical, sonar, touch - we had a jousting lab among other challenges that were pretty darn fun. needless to say my team was undefeated in the round-robin jousting tournament. :)
