Question: Also, an easy way to contact bidders and buyers is a must. If they ask a question, then you can respond and establish a dialogue, but if they don't contact me, I don't see any way to send them a message or email without doing an invoice.
Answer:
It's a bit of a pain but I went through this. One way I've found to contact them that isn't to crazy is this:
Get the buyers user id and go to their homepage like this:
My user name is brucebidder so type this into your url:
http://www.chasethechuckwagon.com/sites/"Insert the user name here(brucebidder would be mine)" Followed by a /, without the / it will not work
This takes you to their homepage and from there you can easily click send email and open a dialogue. The first time its a little wacky but I have my hompage as a favorite then I just copy their user name go to my homepage and edit the url by pasting over my name and running that way, make sure the user name is spelled exactly right and it is case sensitive. It takes a little getting used to but soon you will be flying through and emailing people.... Let me know if that works easier for you...

Question:
So besides the bulk lister are there any other ways to list multiple similar items in a more time efficient manner, such as a template?
If I could save a listing template with all the info stored and then just change the title, price and picture that would be cool (and efficient).
Answer:
A good idea is to say a few auctions in your Pending Auctions area. Then you can use them as a template. I believe we have a couple members doing this and its working well.
Another thing you can do to store your shipping and payment methods is to log into your members area, click on Seller Tools under your Account Tools heading. Then on right side of screen you will see a preferences area. Under there you can set your default shipping and payment instructions. This will then be filled in on your auction listings each time automatically.

I do this all the time ;). Everytime I list an auction at the end I click list a similiar auction and then close that window, it saves the auction template in your pending auctions, the only down side is that it only holds them for 30 days. I recommend filling out the shipping and payment sections so that they auto fill everytime. By doing this you can pick up right were you left off another time. If you have any quesions on how to do this give me a yell:).
Another thing I do to save time and also it works good if your selling on more than one auction site. When I finish a long description on whatever I copy and save a template into word. If your using alot of html code along with your auction you can save the html code in frontpage for later use, or view source on your description and copy the html code directly into word. Just a few things I do. I have also been plaing with the bulk uploader. Its alright but the big time consumer is pictures. YOu have to either host your own or use photobucket, or use the uploader without pictures and add them individually later which takes time. Maybe once summer is over a few of us could work together and figure out a way to copy or create something similiar to a turbo lister.
