I'm all about maximizing combined shipping savings and minimizing PayPal fees. However, this can sometimes make things harder to keep track of for a seller.

I was thinking that if any others are like me and are never in a big rush for their items, it might work well, on a member to member basis, to offer bi-monthly or monthly invoicing and shipping.

If anyone is interested in either of these 2 options, just send me a PM and we can come to an arrangement. I've already set this up with one other member.

1. The first day of every month, each of us would send a combined invoice with combined shipping to the other for their completed wins. Each of us would make one payment for our total, and the items would be shipped. Any ongoing auctions would go to the next month. Clean break to make it easy to keep track of.

2. Same thing, but twice a month on the 1st and 15th.

I'd like to see PayPal and the Post Office get a much smaller share of our money.

Of course, I'll still do conventional - invoice at the end of the auction for anyone who is not interested in these options.

Let me know what you think.

Dave

I guess the 1st and 15th would actually be semi-monthly, not bi-monthly.

Where's the dunce cap smiley when you need it.

Sounds good, Bruce. You want to do the once a month on the 1st, or the twice a month on the 1st and 15th?

Once a month is fine. I am in no rush plus it cuts down on the many packages being delivered which raises the wives eyebrows to my buying:D

Sounds good. We'll go with the 1st of the month.

Hi,

I'd be willing to do this as well although there may be occasions where i need an item right away (rarely). But usually I can wait especially if a seller is gonna be listing more stuff I am interested in.

As a seller I am going to be listing sporadically until it gets cold out around here but I am more than happy to combine, save and ship on a monthly basis if desired.

Sounds good. I'll add you to my monthly list.

As far as the occasion that one of us may want a particular item sooner, the buyer would just let the seller know that and it would be invoiced, paid, and shipped seperately.

I'd be willing to do the monthly bit with you, Dave. Though...I haven't been able to snag anything I want from you yet! :/

But add me to the list, I'm always browsing and would appreciate saving on shipping and such.

Thanx!

Sounds good. I'll add you to the monthly list. I really think this can save some shipping and PayPal fees and be much simpler for the seller (and buyer) to keep track of things.

This is working very well so far. Right now 6 other members are using this method with me. Anyone else who is interested, just send me a message. I think we can save some $'s this way.
