I found a couple of pins in the wild

Took the family out to the beach today at St Annes and found an arcade with mainly fruit machines as usual but some great 2p slots too and a roulette machine but they also had a Stern elvis and a Rollercoaster Tycoon pin.

Both had the spirit level bubble on the table which showed that the operator had jacked the machine up too steeply to speed it up but I played them both anyway.

Rollercoaster Tycoon was meh with the machine in generally good condition but a filthy playfield. Elvis was a much better game and in much better condition but still in need of a clean.

The real downer was that part of the arcade was closed off and in plain view there was a Pinball 2000 Revenge From Mars.

Also outside was this huge skip full to the brim of broken up cabs. I couldn't see anything classic but had I been on my own I would have been inside. :)

Haha, had we still been around at sunset yes but sadly no it is too far away.

Anyway, I got clearance for a 3rd arcade machine in the house but it has to be a 2p gambler of some sort that the wife and kids will enjoy equally.

Personally I'd like a Zoltan.

Have you looked into Pachislo slot machines? There are tons of themes to choose from. If that is what you mean by gambling machines.

I'm waiting for a Hardware Flashback on them, but I think the family would want something more British and classic, something like a single player coin push or a 1 armed bandit would be great.

Given the choice, I would go with a one-armed bandit. Much more class than a coin pusher and generally nicer to look at.
