Even though I'm relatively new to this forum, I figured I'd give a little heads up on a project of mine. Leathco knows of this full well. Roughly every week or so, I take a little look at a given bargain bin-level game in my collection. See here for details:

With that in mind, I hit the thrifts and used stores regularly. However, it doesn't end there! I frequently get in various items from you the fan and reader. So, if you have anything you just can't stomach, can't seem to sell, and just want gone, I'll take it AND take a look AT it. I've been concentrating on the Genesis mostly, but I'll look at virtually any console you're interested in. Anybody interested can PM me with details on where to send your junk.

I actually (kind of) look for those. I mainly get them purely to see how utterly terrible they are. :P

Which ... on that note ... I got "Midnight Outlaws : 6 Hours to Sunup" on that principle recently and I actually like the game ... despite the fact that there are MAJOR balancing issues REALLY early int he game.

One of the fascinating things is how many of these so-called "bargain bin level" games are fantastic and, honestly, quite a bit better than the majority of today's big-budget stuff. Sure, a lot of them are still pretty bad, but out of the stacks an staaaaaaaacks of Genesis games I find in them, I'd say a good 60 percent of them stand out as either very fun or very unique.

I have quite a few Genesis games that I've picked up as of recently. Maybe some of them could strike somebody's interest.
