I'd like to find a good place to buy these of decent quality, 20 or 25 at a time for a decent price. I currently tweak the existing one to tighten it up before selling an NES, but that is a time consuming process. I'd like to be able to just pop in a new one so that my customer always gets a system that works well.

Not sure what you are looking to spend, but I got one from here to test it out and liked the results. These ones are made of a stronger metal than the original and they are supposedly anti corrosive. If you buy 20 or more at a time their 5.50 a piece plus shipping. Anyway thought I would throw it up there. I have looked around and usually most places sell them for 8-10 so this is the best deal I have seen....

Hey if you are going to get these would you mind if I piggy backed on your order? I would like to get 5-10 of them and if you decide to get some I would love to get in on the order to so we can get that 5.50 price. I would pay you then to ship them to me? Anyway if you find a better deal somewhere else let me know I would still like to get in on it..

We had someone list these a while back. It was like a bag of 20 or so of them. I will see if I can find out who it was and have them list some more.

Thanks for the replies. Yep $4.00 to $5.00 is the range I was hoping to get them for. I'll do some looking also and if you find the source for $4.00 that'd be great.
Bruce,
Yes, I'd be happy to split up a buy with you. I'll keep in touch and let you know when and where I'll be getting them. Then we can decide if you want me to send them right away or with your next purchases.

Ill take a look this weekend. I may want to piggyback also as I probably have 30 systems that need connectors lying around.

Great! If nobody is in a huge rush, toward the end of next week or so, I'll post to this thread with the best price we've found so far and get number that everyone wants and we'll see how many we can order. Maybe we can even get 100.
Those of you who have expressed interest, if you can think about it a little and when we find the best price, firm up the quantity you want I think we can get this done.

If we are all going in we might all want to see if we can find some stabilant 22 I have not personally gotten it or used it but have heard it is wonderful. It is a conductive lubricating polymer you can put on the contacts of the new 72 pin connector that makes it easier to insert and remove games while protecting and enhancing the connection. It can also be used with any system for the same purpose.;)

Well if you are all going in on a big order, I would be in for at least 5 if that helps you get closer to 100. Just keep me informed on details.
Cool, You can also put me down for 20 for sure, maybe
more depending on the final price

I know we've got 2 or 3 toasters that need work, so depending on the cost I could probably use 5.
I've never replaced the pin connectors myself but I gotta learn sometime. :)

I found the place I bought them before and the price has almost doubled from what I paid, so it is not an option. The best I could find online was the $5.50 deal.

So far, we haven't had much luck with quantity buys. Seems like it wouldn't be any better than each of us buying what we need.
As far as I know, nothings been found lately that would be worth a group buy.
:(

ok, but even if the group buy doesn't work out right now, where's the best deal for em that anyone knows about currently?
