Hope it's OK, I posted a little Youtube vid to quickly look at the Colecovision Super Action Controllers I received, funnily enough from Ebay yet I was just kind of winging it so I threw in a little Chasethechuckwagon.com plug as an Ebay alternative LOL! I think I did OK, please have a look and please feel free to comment as most of my friends and family don't get this retro gaming thing! THANKS GUYS! :D

I have owned those in the past, but for some crazy reason never ever played a game with them. Please let us know how they actually work for you. Maybe a You Tube review of the controllers in action. Play a game with the standard controllers and then with the Super Action and discuss the pros and cons. I am sure they work well for some of the sports games, but how about some of the others. Very curious :) Thanks for the plug by the way. Loved it :D

Awesome plug at the end. :)
I would have said "got the package from 'the evil and not preferred Ebay'" or something instead. ;)

Awesome plug for me too... I use the SA controllers once in a while they are pretty nice. The first time or two that you use them its hard to get used to the 4 buttons but once you master them they work pretty good.... Thanks for mentioning me and the CW...:)

Awesome! Thanks for the replies guys! Honestly, I literally started up my cheap videocam of my Samsung digital camera and just started blabbing, just winged the whole thing so yeah Chickybaby I agree "EvilBay" would probably of been better, I have been planning to start my own type of retro gaming videos, I am not imtimidated or trying to be another AVGN or Irategamer I just truly love the hobby and want to share! This first video was truly just a test run but I think I could be pretty good. Also, I figure the Atari 2600, NES etc and even Intellivsion has been done to death, I want to inform retro gamers of some of the over looked games/systems/consoles too!

I am 40 with a fulltime job and a loving wife (but hey sometimes that is a 2nd job LOL!) so I don't have much time for such endevours but I really do want to start doing such videos, that is why I specificly created a 2nd Youtube account just for that sort of thing! It's called maximumRD and if you check out my page I hope you'll all like the look of the background I think you guys can relate! (HINT: MY FAVORITE COLECOVISION GAME EVER!) so check out:

Mike, I will definitely consider your suggestion as well as anyone else's thanks! Bruce, I also plan a more in depth Colecovision review and you can bet I will throw another plug your way for the awesome setup you sold me! Thanks guys, I am so glad I did this now I am inspired to actually plan out my next few videos so keep the suggestions coming, who knows maybe I can do something different...................................

PS: Please post comments and rate my videos that would be awesome and very encouraging THANKS!!!!!!!

Hey all, not happy with similiar groups on Facebook I decided to start my own, I am just uploading content now but I hope you will swing by and join and / or let others know of the new Facebook group:

MaximumRD's Classic Gaming and Computing

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=26887025879

I hope the name says it all but let me add that yeah this group is my way to get together like minded individuals into Playing and Collecting Classic Games and Consoles as well as Classic PC's, computers etc.

Not much there at the moment but I am working hard to get the word out, get content added (picture/videos/discussions etc) and I hope you will at least take a peek! THANKS EVERYONE IN ADVANCE.

That video was awesome! I like the whole "one-take" feel where it doesn't have to be perfect, and you can just wing it. Liked that you pointed out the controllers were ok for guys with big hands too. I have medium to big hands and fall into that category sometimes when it comes to special controllers. :)

Nice plug at the end too! ...had to mention bruce tho  j/k

I think for future vids, along with the format you have now of reviewing some of your items, you should play with the idea to have guest gamers come on and do a sort of show and tell type format so we all get to see some really cool old skoo pieces from all sorts of people. Nice work!

Thanks JESTER! Well I didn't make my first video an introduction as I was expecting the response, I just finished a script, still just info I wrote of the top of my head but thought I would read it through a few times before posting just so it will go "smoother" just an introduction as to what I am about, my plans for future content etc, should be up within a day or so if not sooner.:D

Then I will start the "REAL" content...................;)

Oh I mentioned Bruce as he was my first very happy buying experience here, as it continues I promise to mention and plug others I buy from here (I wont from EVILBAY THOUGH LOL!!!!!)
