So I was out and about earlier tonight. I realized I had some ebay auctions ending earlier so I started invoicing them. I got a few total requests for combined items. Before I invoiced anything I checked emails in ebay there were none about invoicing tonight that were unanswered. So I begin to send invoices and combined invoices and I guess I made a huge mistake. :(
I advertise additional DVDs at $1 ea and additional CDs at $0.50 after the first item in the USA just like I do with games. Thing is no matter what I do ebay sends me dollar amounts combined together for shipping costs so it screws me up. I do the best I can, but one guy had a shitfit tonight over $1.60 that I would have refunded him. The moron threatened to leave negative feedback and this is before I even read what was in my regular inbox. Not to mention I hadn't been paid at that point either. When I did read the 5 emails about how I am a liar in my listings and charge too much for media mail, I snapped on the guy in a few emails. I also reported him to ebay for "feedback threats", after he threatened to file a claim with ebay tomorrow. There is absolutely no way to make a customer like this happy. I have had this problem before, but now they are more strict with buyers.
What do you guys think? Why would someone mention negative feedback (over $1.60 BTW) before they even get an invoice? WTF is with contacting a seller outside the auction site? Chime in if you want to say anything.
