Best Way to Promote auctions?

Just curious what sites actually let you "promote" your auctions as I generally have been treated as a spammer when I jump in and do that. Me thinks I'm just going about it all wrong. Any help or tips would be appreciated.

All depends each site is different. Genrally if it is a forum you are looking at make sure you post your auction in a marketplace or Auctions forum, otherwise they will boot you. I would say your best bets are Atariage, digital press, nintendoage. I know on atariage there are collectors of all generations not just atari and digital press is a catch all kind of site. Anyway thats my 2 cents...
