Forum theme...

So I've noticed we've got a new default theme.
I don't like it, maybe if some of the colors gets sorted out (I don't usually like dark themes, although some aren't bad (see CAGs forum for a very "easy on the eyes" dark theme)), but not right now.
My first thought was "Well, most forums like this have a theme setting in the user profile." I checked, was able to set it back to the default white.
Everything was good for a day, then it reverted back to the darker theme. I thought perhaps my setting got reset or something, but the option was entirely removed.

Are we going to get that option to have the old theme back?

I will add that option back in. Sorry you aren't liking the new look :) I think it's pretty easy on the eyes myself. The old style was just a mish-mash of stuff - nothing really matched. I found this skin and thought it looked pretty cool :)

Mainly it's the little things... The text entry boxes and things like "Title:" and the "font" "sizes" "font color" "attachments" and the "mini smiley box" (they're huge white box on an otherwise dark page), the icons seem to be made for a lighter background (some have white outlines, others are too faint (the ones next to "Blog" and "reply" links)), some links are dark blue (the one to RGR in your sig for one... others are that brown/orange color), most of the post options (bold, underline, justification, etc) are hard to make out.

Although it seems out of place with the whole GameGavel site's color scheme. Seems to fit in a lot better with the RGR site than GameGavel.
