Who is "newsBOT"?

Is this an official news posting app thats part of the forums or a common-or-garden spammer? Too many posts! :)

newsBOT is something I set up. I am working on removing the posts from the side bar boxes.

The posts are only in the Breaking News area, just don't read them if you don't want to. The newsBOT posts don't cross over to any member thread areas so shouldn't be a problem after I filter them out of the latest post boxes. Hope that makes sense :)

Yeah, they can stay in the news threads but right now the "New Posts" link that I use for the forums is effectively broken.

I'm with UK. I use the "What's New?" button on the toolbar whenever I check posts. It is a clogged mess now.

That's what I was referring to as well. I use the new post button all the time, but it's jammed up with posts at the moment.

Like I said, will take care of it so it won't show up in any of these extra areas, only in the thread posts area. My Vbulletin guy is looking into this over the weekend and should be all fixed by Monday. In the meantime I have slowed down the feed and the # of items it posts :)
