Resident Evil by George Romero....why didn't we get THIS instead????

Here's the script George Romero wrote for the Resident Evil movie before it went to another director. God we got SO screwed, this movie had some killer potential, especially with Romero behind it!

This sound a lot better than the resident evil movies we are getting. It bugs the hell out of me how the movies don't fallow the game, how they created a completely new character to be the star of the film instead of using character from the games to be the stars of the movies. If you are going to make resident evil movies you should make resident evil characters be the star of your movie.

Why are these movies not being rebooted? It seem that everything now days in Hollywood gets a reboot but we are getting the 5th or 4th film (lost count) of this franchise. I would love to see the Resident Evil movie franchise get a reboot and have a set of movies that focus on each of the main character of the resident evil universe and bring them all together in the last movie. I would get in line for that shit!
