Comic Book Movies- Discuss!

You, hey yes you nerd boy/girl. We know you read comics. Comics and Gaming go hand in hand like mayonnaise and funny. If you get that reference then yes, you belong here. With the current trend of turning every dime store comic into a film, I think its about time we began feverishly arguing about it.

Green lantern film. Ryan Renolds.

I'll probably check it out on DVD or just possibly the second-run theater if I'm bored when they show it, but I just can't gather any interest in Green Lantern. I don't mind Ryan Reynolds and I like the character of Green Lantern... the movie just doesn't look good and most reviews seem to feel the same way.

I did see Thor and thought it was decent, and I really enjoyed X-Men: First Class (ignoring continuity errors, I was shocked by how much better it was after seeing X3 and Wolverine). I'm really looking forward to Captain America... definitely my most anticipated movie in quite a while. Commercials/trailers are good so I'm optimistic.
