Atari Age Harmony Cartridge for my 2600, have been wanting one of these after hearing about them on the podcast. Now just need to find/source a sd card for the fun to begin.

Finally managed to get some time.
Setup was so easy, just a matter of copying some 2600roms to the memory sick and plug in. By default the cartridge most be configured to work on NTSC machines, as I initially got a scrolling screen. So I downloaded the update software from Atari age and updated the cartridge to work with a Pal system. Took about 5 mins (if that).
Currently every game I have tried has worked really well, only minor problems with Halo2600. It plays fine, however some graphic glitches. But this coul dbe my TV as I get some weirdness (color bleeding) on cartridge games. My 2600 isnt modded, so using standed RF connection for video and sound.
The menu is as i expected basic, but it works fine. Its quick to load, and presses right pages down the list. So even if you have a massive list, you can scan through quite quick. It is dependant on your file names, so if they are untidy. The menu list looks crap.
I am one happy chap. So now busy putting my cartridges into plastic sleeves to protect them.

Really need to state just how easy it was to setup. I will continue to try other games and let you know if I find any not working

Excellent review!
I wouldn't mind adding a few notes I discovered with my Harmony (if that's okay).

1) I am actually using a cartridge-playing modded FlashBack2 instead of a genuine 2600. As a result, the AOAC circuitry doesn't work 100% as a 2600 (I get a weird starfield in IMagic's Cosmic Ark, etc) and one of the biggest disappointments I had was discovering that Activision's H.E.R.O. will not function on a FlashBack2. I was really sad when I confirmed this with my original cartridge. BUT if I load H.E.R.O. onto my Harmony it works like a charm. Excellent!

2) The other big problem with a modded FlashBack2 was that the original firmware of the Harmony would not allow it display a menu of multiple ROMS. It has now had that fixed as of firmware 1.04 onwards. Prior to this I could only play a single ROM at a time.

3) Believe it or not, you can actually use the paddles for navigating the menu. It's a little harder to do, especially if your paddles jitter like mine, but if you want to play a bunch of paddle games and don't want the hassle of plugging in and out joysticks just to navigate the menu, it can be done with just the paddles.

Definitelty a must-own for any Atari fan.

PS. Why would such a fanboy as myself have a FlashBack2 and not the original hardware? Well, I heard this guy on a podcast once, I think his name was Scott? He had a show called the Hardware FlashBack. I'm not sure if any of you have ever heard of him. Anyway, he recommended the FlashBack2 for a huge list of reasons so I just had to get one.
Then he recommended the Vectrex so I just had to get one.
Hmmmm I think this "Scott" fellow owes me some money!

Surprise surprise, the Harmony cart will be either the March or April HWFB, I have to work it out between the Harmony and the National Pinball Museum.
