Did anyone pick up this game?

I read reviews of it online and most say it's flat and not exciting at all.

According to Gamespot, Mario sports games usually offer a goofy take on an established idea, but there's no such hook in his latest athletic attempt. I was really excited for this one, but now I'm not sure anymore.

If it lacks depth and fun I may be disappointed.

Anyone else agrees with this?

I was hoping this would be fun also... loved Mario Soccer (or whatever it was called) for the gamecube.. that was a great game.

I've never been excited for this title. It's just not my thing. Mario Golf, now there's a game I really enjoyed. For sports games, I like to go somewhere in between arcade and sim. This is too much arcade.
