Saw this on BoingBoing this morning. Anyone with an old Gameboy and a tri-wing screwdriver want to check and see what they find?

99% sure it is a cute hoax (I mean thousands of people must have opened up their Gameboys before this kid) but I get a kick out of stuff like this.

It's 100% a hoax. The guy is Neil Cicierega, aka Lemon Demon.

It all started about 10 years ago when someone posted a video showing how you could how you could remove the wrapper on a 12v car remote battery and use the 10 LR44/357 (used in many games like Nintendo Game and Watch) that are inside. It makes good sense, they try to charge $5 a battery for those. I usually buy some laser pointer or other gadget that comes with 4 of them for $2 and throw away the gadget. Then the follow on spoofs came.....
