25 separate $0.99 packs, or all 100 for $14.99.
Neat, but i'm not sure how many of these I want to play on the iTouch. As always, they could be fun if the controls are done well, otherwise it's probably not worth it...

I think I'll end up passing on it. Atari Anniversary on the PS2 is more than enough for me. :)

They should have gone the CAPCOM way and let you have a taste of the games before you buy. It's not the cost, it's the frustration of getting something that is unplayable because of bad controls.

Saw this last night too. It seems like a good deal. Out of all those games I would think a good number of them will control well. Also, if this is the ap to go with the iCade when it comes out, it will be a definite pickup for me.

Yeah, I'm waiting to see what happens with the iCade before acting on this. I'm assuming - big if though - that the Atari bundle will be included with the iCade...

Review here: http://toucharcade.com/2011/04/07/ataris-greatest-hits-review-my-god-its-full-of-pixels/
I like how they describe some of the control options, and some of them sound like they might be good, but I think in general Touch Arcade reviews tend to be a bit... optimistic about controls so I'm still cautious.

It's gotten horrible reviews from users due to the controls. I'm hoping though that the iCade will of course change all that.
The iCade manual has been leaked online and it has been confirmed that there is no "voucher" for Atari's Greatest Hits when you purchase the iCade. The manual suggests that you download the "free" version of Atari's Greatest Hits, directs you to play Pong (which is included with the free download already) and tells you that you can buy more "packs" separately.

Ya, controls hurt this one alot I'm afraid! I remain optimisitc the iCade will work with this.

Do the paddle games play well? If there's a "paddle game" pack I might give that a shot. Arkanoid on iOS plays wonderfully.

I picked up the Super Breakout, Breakout, Circus Atari and Off the Wall pack. Circus Atari plays great using a slider on the bottom of the screen - exactly as it should (like iOS Arkanoid). That's the game I really wanted, so I'm happy. Haven't tried the Breakouts yet, but hopefully they're the same. Off the Wall uses a virtual joystick and it's pretty tough. Never played the original, but I'm not sure why that game uses a stick instead of paddle - seems like it'd play better w/ a paddle. Graphically Off the Wall is pretty awesome, though.
