So Cal Mike on Coin-Op TV Live - Next Week

Hey everyone -

Just wanted to let everyone here know that next Thursday, October 23rd, 2008 I will be a guest on - http://coin-op.tv/. This will be a live taping that airs at 8:00 PM Pacific Time.

Here is some information from their homepage:

COIN-OP TV LIVE launched in 2006 as part of TheStream.TV network as a founding show. It is the second longest running show on the network with one of the largest loyal followings. Highlights from the live show include interviews with famed video game composer Tommy Tallarico, professional gamer Fatal1ty, the team behind Screw Attack and Director of Operations for Nexon, Min Kim. COIN-OP TV LIVE airs Thursdays at 8PM PST / 11PM EST on www.TheStream.TV (http://www.thestream.tv/)

My main goal for this interview will be to spread the word of our auction site and reel in some new members. And in doing so, I am also hoping it may lead to bigger and better relationships within the industry. Relationships that could help expedite or spark our growth. It's an exciting time to be apart of what is now the single most successful auction site dedicated to this hobby we all love.

Well just back home from the show. Tricia said I slouched during the whole thing and I know I had some wandering eyes :WO I am sure I will be disappointed in that. Hopefully on the smaller screens it wasn't as noticable. I hope I hit on everything when it was all said and done. Had some good IM questions come in and everyone there was great to work with. I was also fighting a massive head cold/cough which I was able to hold back, thankfully. Anyway, thanks for watching and talk with you all tomorrow :)

I have never found a diaper that can make it through the night so I am up at 2am changing her every day and I got the flu from her so after her fussy 8pm bed time I dragged my sorry carcass to bed anyway for at least a nap.

CGE usually runs some auctions for some rare items. In 2007 they auctioned off a Intelli Computer Module - went for like $2000. I thought it would be cool, and some others have mentioned, that we could run Live Video auction where the item could be listed on the Chuckwagon and then people at the convention and also at home could bid on the items. I would have to work out some of the logistics of it but it could be done. That way people that couldn't make it to the Expo could still participate in the auctions.

Everyone is hoping for August 2009 - In Las Vegas. Great show if you haven't been to one. It's worth the trip for sure. They skipped a show in 2008. Their website - http://www.cgexpo.com/ still has no mention of a 2009.
