Good Old Games not dead, apologizes for making us think so.

Those dirty little....

Good Old Games, the DRM free digital distributer of old PC games, is coming back in a brand new way. A lot of people thought this was the end of a really good thing, but it was really just a relaunching of sorts. It seems like we might be getting out of the Good Old Games Beta and into a full on project thing. Also, you can breath now, as DRM will not be in the new GOG.

With that, GOG has put up an apology and a countdown clock leading up too the release of the new GOG. GOG apologizes for the sudden closure and loss of information and making people feel worried and stuff.

The countdown clock reads 14 hours as I'm posting this, and in the meantime, GOG will be putting up videos explaining what's new with GOG 2.0. It looks like they've got some sort of viral thing going on that should provide information.

So, who's excited?
