Well Nintendo, not fit with winning a lot of old school fans back with the
releases of Heart Gold and Soul Silver, seems keen on actually
reinventing how we Play Pokémon again. Revealed Sunday on Oha Suta, a
Japanese TV show (and not Pokémon Sunday for some reason), we got a huge
dump of new updates on the latest installment of the Fad that outlived Fads,
including a fancy full trailer in glorious moonspeak. Check It Out!

At first we’re given look at what looks like some form of actual story
taking place now. And we’re also given a glimpse of a somewhat more active
world than the past. (AND ROLLERCOASTER!) There’s also some kind of thing
that involves uploading data to the internet and interacting in your web
browser, what you can do with that is unknown right now.

This new dynamic looking combat looks like it’s a lot more fluid than past
games, with sweeping camera moves and Pokémon full on moving for all their
attacks, not to mention we now have hot 3 on 3 battling. That’s half of
your max team there in case you’ve been living under a rock. New options
at the battle screen, called “Shooter,” which since we don’t know what it
lets you do, we can only assume will get you and or your team drunk really
fast.

We also know that Online is being made into a larger part of the game,
with it seeming like you can essentially walk right into an online realm,
with a multiplayer avatar. Though nothing much is known outside of that.
This comes along with the new random battling without friend codes (thank
god) and whatever else Nintendo has got planned.

Some more new Pokémon also were shown off super fast in the flowing
battles, so check the trailer for some of that action. I will say I’m
impressed with how they are all looking so far. And can’t wait for find out
more myself than bring it all to you, dear readers.
