Exclamation I'm really beginning to question the intelligence of eBay bidders...

    Hey everyone,
Like the title says, I'm really begining to question the intellegence of eBay bidders,
and here are some of the few reasons:

    • I bought two copies of the Japanese Super Famicom version of Kirby Super Star / Deluxe / Hoshi no Kābī Sūpā Derakkusu, off eBay a few months ago. I did this after purchasing several copies of the American Super Nintendo version. I did this for the reason of trying to find a copy that worked 100% on the Retro Duo SNES / NES dual clone console. From my research it seems that only certain versions of the game work 100%, while others only boot intermittently.

I then sold off all of the American Super Nintendo versions of Kirby Super Star individually, as none of them worked 100%.
Then I listed the two Japanese versions here, and on eBay, in effort to get rid of them as well,
as they too did not work (in this case at all).

Now that the two Japanese versions I own are listed on here and on eBay, I have received many offers for both the American Super Nintendo and Nintendo DS versions of Kirby Super Star / Ultra. This has happened no less than seven times even though on both auction sites, the items are clearly represented in text and images as being the Japanese Super Famicom version of Kirby Super Star.

The GameGavel auction for these items is here, while the eBay auction is here.

It just surprises me that either many eBay users do not read, or even look at the auction's pictures :/

    • Two offers for unrelated items, that happened to be for two separate rare games, and after making counter offers and then accepting their final offers, the two sellers have yet to pay after two or three weeks despite numerous attempts at contacting them (again, this is eBay). Why make an offer for something you have no intent to pay? I just do not understand it.

Anyway, that's my rant for today... and yet one more reason I continue to use GameGavel for the vast majority of my auctions. And if anyone wants a copy or two of the Japanese version of Kirby Super Star, let me know and I will make you a good offer lol

This is what I don't get and I think is stupid. Why offer and counter offer if you have no intention on buying the item? What big waste of time for you. I hope you find some better people to deal with.
