    Totally agree with you Cynicaster.

I tried a trial of Circus Atari out last night as it was a game I adored way back on my 2600.

The Game Room version is unplayable. The analogue stick just cannot replace the paddle for perfect control.

I'm playing gameroom. Its a bit dissappointing, but I had pretty low expectations. I mean, I know its not going to be the same as the original, so I would definitely try out a game like Kaboom or Circus Atari before buying.

That being said - I like the additional aspects of friend challenges and rewind. They give me a reason to play on the 360 rather than an emulator or the PS2, but I'm not going to go crazy in there or anything.

Right now I own Black Widow (nice dual stick control) and Tutankamen. If you've got a game you play a lot, send me a challenge and maybe I'll buy it with you - gamertag is wongojack

They are working on gameroom for Windows Phone 7, so its possible that some things will still happen for gameroom 360. Its also a relatively easy way for XBox Live to gobble up some cash. It just sits there and people have 100+ games they can buy, so why would it be taken down if it requires no work and still makes $$. If anything, I would expect them to be preparing Game Room II at some point (like years away).

I still play Game Room now once and again, and I still chuckle to myself, in a sad way, that out of all the people I have on my friends list, I have the most achievements on GameRoom, I have about 700 Gamer points now, when I'm not that bothered with achievements. It's been a while since they've updated it, and to be brutally honest I don't think they're going to update it again. At least they through in some great Konami games on their last update, like Twinbee and Detena No Twinbee. However I've been having a few issues with GameRoom recently with random crashes and stuff, and I feel that Microsoft isn't going to do a thing about it.

My brother invited me with a score challenge and It is a cool way to get people into it. I like the scoreboards, taunts and challenges but I can double my score with my 60 in one cabinet because the real arcade controls are so much better. I have a street fighter 4 arcade stick and it's crap.

I have the XBLA version of Time Pilot so I've never bought it for Gameroom. Is Centipede fun to play with the 360 controller?

The game room version of time pilot lags...just wow... 3 processor cores ... Still not able to properly emulate a game from 1982. I've gone back to my (probably 100mhz) 60-in one.
