As we talked about in our lessons learned and a few other threads our show needs help running the booth. What we mainly run up against is the need to do an errand, to conduct an interview, and do things like visit panels and other events conflicting with our being at the booth to talk to attendees. There were allot of people that came by our booth (both attendees and alumni) that we couldn't talk to because we were doing so many interviews.

So, we need some staff to help run the booth. The main duties would be errands, greeting and meeting the celebs, talking to attendees about the radio show while we are conducting interviews or out of the room doing something else, and handing out CDs of the show to anyone and everyone.

What is in it for you? Our thanks first off, and we really mean that in all seriousness. You'll get to meet the celebs a little closer up, and bring your autograph pen, its kind of cool to have a Dragster cart autographed by David Crane. A RetroGaming Roundup Tshirt (for those that pull a half day). And some cool access to the behind the scenes.

Knowing that some people have plans to be there no matter what, and others are uncertain this list will be subject to change. If you are interested in helping out please reply in this thread with what category you fit into and when you can work; Fri, Sat, Sun, morning, evening, all day etc.

The date has not been announced for this year, but CGE is held in Las Vegas usually around late July - early August. All manner of info here

CGE is just plane awesome and of course Vegas, what more needs to be said!

lol, My bad. I just found the thread. I shoulda looked harder first. And since it's in Vegas, and I now live in Vegas, I can help out with errand running and stuff. Not one for "meeting and greeting", but my legs work great! Heck, since I live here, food, drinks, snacks, hookers...I mean, after site activities, not a problem.

Don't know about Friday, prolly just evening time, but yeah. No plans for the rest of the weekend usually...nothing that I can't do any other time that is. Put me in for sure, I can probably be there all day if needed. If it runs longer than just the weekend (I'm not as familiar with it as I should be), weeknights only. If I should die or something before then, I'll notify you. mwahahahaha

It is open Sat and Sun with Friday closed to the public for setup. That said lots of folks wandering around Friday night. We usually do an event each night with the listeners. You have no idea how lucky you are and how sweet this event is. Once you go it will become the new center point of the year.
