Hi there SRG,
My 2600 has the RF board with RCA connector inside its guts. An RCA lead runs from this and terminates in an RF barrell connector which I plugged directly into the TV. As far as I know, this is how it should be hooked up?
Cheers!

Ahh I would bet that has gone bad, try and find one of the RCA to Coaxial adapters or another RF switch, and I bet that solves the issue!
Personally I recently got a Coleco and had it modded, on my 50 inch I think it looks better with the old school RCA to coaxial adapter than with the RCA-Red/White/Yellow connections, but again my opinion and as they say your mileage may vary
Good Luck!
hi SRG,
I'm plugging the RF male barrell connector directly into the RF female barrell connector on the TV. I don't think thats the issue. Not a silly question though, often the simplest things are overlooked
I think I'm getting somewhere with a composite mode. I'll post some pics here once I've got it working. Now if only my Megadrive woes were as easy to resolve!
