Default 60-in-1 board, worth buying to complement my Magic Sword?

So I've seen these 60-in-1 boards floating around in the 100-200 dollar range, and have been really, REALLY tempted to pick one up. Magic Sword is a JAMMA game, and these are JAMMA boards. Would it be worth it to pick up one of these boards for my cabinet? Also, is there any way to have both boards in the cab at the same time, with maybe a switch to change between boards?

    Yea, I'm a n00b at this stuff.....

Or would I be better off building a small cabinet for the 60 in 1? If I got my facts right, I'd need the board, a jamma harness, a power supply, than just the joysticks/buttons and a monitor (looks like the 60 in 1 supports a PC monitor?), than just build the cab. Throw in a coin box and a speaker for authenticity?

Great questions! The closer to $100 than $200 you get the better a deal it is. It would totally be worth picking up the board, you will have your own arcade of classics in one box. Jammaboards.com has a 2 board adapter for $50, this one is about $100 but it lets you use up to SIX boards so you can have quite a setup, well worth the money in my opinion. At one point they sold the 60 in 1 for a decent price but I don't see it listed now.

As for a separate cab for the 60 in one, you could do just what your saying, a PC power supply and a PC monitor 19" are free for the taking if you ask around or check craigslist. The 60 in 1 works great with PC monitors. But you would have a much easier time, and probably a better outcome if you just look for the cheapest non-working cocktail cab you can find and retrofit that. You will also likely need a JAMMA harness, you can get them from jammaboards.com as well for about $9.

I keep my eyes out for non-working cabs, but haven't found any in my area for over a year now. The recent pickup of Magic Sword and SCI was really the best deal I've seen on evansville.craigslist.org in a long while (although a buddy of mine who lives nearby just found a 2 slot Neo Geo cab with 4 carts for $375....lucky bastard).

Thanks for the advice. I'm still teetering on whether to make a dedicated cab for the 60 in 1 or just slap it in my Magic Sword cab and call it a day.
