Hmmm.... i voted for Twilight Zone by default. Too many great pins missing from this list and.. Rollergames? Really? No love for Spiderman? Attack from Mars? Monster Bash? Medieval Madness?

Whitewater is cool though... just picked one up last week.

Hate to say it, but I haven't played most of these machines. I do like pinball, but I guess I just never spent that much time actually playing it. I'd usually play one or two games, but spend the rest of my arcade time with video games. Anyways, I had to vote Revenge From Mars because it was revolutionary, it was gorgeous, I liked the theme, and I generally understood what I was supposed to do with the gameplay.

Gorgar would be my #1, though. I love that game.
If you can't do it with 8 bits, you don't need to do it.

White Water, though they're all soooo good. Would have liked to have seen T2, Gilligan's Island or Bride of Pinbot in there too.

Jeez this will be an interesting discussion - I don't think there's any such thing as a 'bad' pinball.

    Sorry to be obvious.

    Addams family
    Theater of magic
    Bride of pin bot

    Then Twilight zone.

My life long favorite table is Shuttle...
    http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=2260

This table was in every arcade, Showbiz, 7-11 and mall in the 80's. One could say that this table existed 'In the Cloud' because no matter where I went it was there. I know it's not a great game, but it's what I learned on.

I'm surprised there is no love for Jive Time. Even though I wasn't excited about the theme, I really like that table.

I'm sure if the Top-10 was crowd-sourced, it would be a lot different. But this is Top-10 of three guys, and I always try to remember that. Victory over a Steve Ritchie game? #1 is TZ? Decent picks, but mine would be different. That said, I like to listen to the reasoning behind the picks. You guys do a good job of explaining your reasons for your picks, even if they're wrong .

That said, I don't know an EM which saved target/etc states between players. Even a lot of early SS games I have played did all bonus/target reset/etc at the end of the ball. Different names for 1/2/4p models would ultimately make it easier to know which variant of "Space Mission" the person was ordering parts for, even if it is the same as two other games otherwise.

4-Player machines can be a real beast simply because of the extra reels and the Player Unit, which amounts to a big jumble of wires and a stepper that switches something like 24 input lines between the players. I still need to debug the unit on my Aztec. What a mess.

I've just listened to the segment and cannot believe you voted out Fun House. That doll was the creepiest, most annoying toy ever to grace a table - which was the point. It made you so greedy because you just so wanted to shut the bastard up by bashing the hell out of it. And when it went to sleep it was awesome. I haven't played that pin in over a decade but I still have really great memories of it.

What a tough list to come up with, it's an epic round table this month!

For me, sometimes less is more. I was not amused by Rudy, only annoyed and bored, so I just didn't like it.
