Default Venture Electronics Video Sports Pong Machines

Venture Electronics Video Sports VS-7(missing gun attachment)

    Venture Electronics Video Sports VS-1

Found these at Goodwill for $4 a piece.

No power adaptors, but they work with C batteries. Would rather play with a power adaptor, but can not find much info on the systems. One site said the VS-7 uses a 9v negative tip, but I don't know about the VS-1's.

Two of them are in good shape and the insides are real clean. The other VS-1 model has one battery termial corrodied and rusted away. Also, one of the screws in the battery area is rusted and worn away and I can't get it it to come out. Don't leave batteries in your old electronics! Any ideas how I get the screw out without hurting the system? Drill maybe?

One way is to get an electric screwdriver and an old driver bit you don't mind potentially losing. Superglue (or I've even seen guys solder!)the bit to the screw and when it's dry, turn it slowly.

If your really really into it.
    You could get an easy-out.
It is a reverse thread type of drill bit.
Drill a small hole, tap a reverse thread, then run the easy-out into it it will sink in and then unscrew the screw.
Allays works but a bit of trouble. and you then need a new screw.
