What is the best version of Destruction Derby?

I believe that the one for the N64 was the best and Wikipedia has my back:

Destruction Derby 64 (DD64) is the Nintendo 64 version of the game. Graphically and technically, the game was considered by some people as better than its PlayStation counterpart, with more cars available, brighter and better graphics and better recreation of crash damage, which included the hoods and trunks of cars flying off in hard collisions. Multiplayer has split screen for up to four players.

So which version do you guys and or gals prefer?

I never played the N64 version, but I love the PlayStation version. DD is a game that badly needs an updated, HD version.

Yes i remember that too on the PS which to me is the best version by far and DD2 was even better,so much in fact by the time the N64 version appeared it seemed to have very little impact.I felt the N64 version had an unrealistic lifeless feel to it and the graphics engine the console uses meant that graphics detail was lacking a little too much for me.

Course it was - I was the senior artist on it :-)

I never played the N64 version tho I did play the Saturn version a little (my friend who I met several years later worked on the port to the Saturn) which was pretty decent but the Saturn's lack of true transparency kinda hampered the effects (smoke, debris etc) so it ended up looking pretty bad. I really should take a look at it on the N64, tho it will be under emulation as I don't have hardware to hand.
