Default Got a vectrex for 30 bucks!!!!

Gotta love buying non working items and them being a simple fix. Picked up a non working Vectrex off of Ebay for 30 bucks.

All that was wrong was one of the IC chips was loose in the socket and there was some corrosion damage to the pins in the socket. cleaned it up, rebent the pins and now i have another working vectrex!!!

Will post the video soon of the repair on my youtube channel SVT512

Nicely done, this stuff isn't that hard and it was saved from the scrap heap!

Watched the video and I have to say thank you for rescuing that beautiful Vectrex. I really am going to have to buy one if I can find one for a hundred bucks the next time I visit America. I don't care if the TSA thinks it's a bomb I really want one. By the way true story I had a TSA guy in Chicago tell me that the N64 looked like a bomb. I think he meant "Da Bomb!" LOL Strip searches aren't fun but worth it if I can find a Vectrex.

I know how to make them fun, Mr. Seoul! No need for a Vectrex or TSA either. Just you, me, and some rubber gloves!
