What did you do this weekend?

I slept a lot. Watched a lot of sport. Then took most of Sunday morning playing old Amiga games... mostly Lotus Turbo Challenge 2. I had forgotten what a totally addictive, enjoyable game that is. Its kinda nice not having a current gen console to hand, all my gaming is retro these days and thats a good thing.

Worked Friday night into Saturday at 7am, then went to my Experimental Aviation chapter meeting until 11:00am, nabbed a few Zs and went back to work, got off at 7am Sunday morning and came home and pulled the cats off the Ferrari 355 to upgrade to hyperflow cats. Stopped at 12:00 to meet my best friend and hangar partner at the airport so that my wife and I could have a BBQ with him and his wife. We ate burgers and watched student pilots make bad landings. I came back home and started back on the new cats just to find that they sent the wrong gaskets so everything was on hold until Monday morning. Then the wife informed me that Sushi our black cat had the sniffles, so I had to make a trip for an emergency run to the vet's for medicine. Fortunately all that was over with by 8:00 pm for me to watch my downloaded copy of Battleship which was not as horrible as I thought but certainly not on the level I hope Prometheus will be. Headed over to the neighbors house for a beer.

I watched the Scottish Cup final, read a bit, listened to quite a few radio comedies, tried a few unexceptional yet temporarily free games on the iphone, and rested as I've been feeling a bit peaky.

Fairly typical weekend for me.

Wow Scott you had a very long and difficult weekend. Where do you find the energy?

I played about three hours of Giants Citizen Kabuto, a few games of Tetris on the GBlight, K.C. Munchkin on my beautiful new Odyssey 2 and did some food shopping with the wife. I hate shopping for anything but electronics and video games with one exception. I love going to Costco. It's my only chance to buy western style food which I have to eat at least on occasion. Sometimes Kimchi and rice get a little boring.

Saturday, took the dogs for a 2 hour walk, then took a bloody heavy rucksack with £400 in assorted coins to be paid in to a charities bank account down the hill into Hillsborough, only to find all the banks have recently decided they don't open on saturdays anymore, so i had to lug it all back up again. Then had lunch and played a bit of GT5 before taking the dogs for a 3 hour walk, then made Smoked fish Katsu Curry and watched The Exorcist
Sunday, ate katsu sauce and rice for breakfast to give me a metabolism boost and some carbs before grabbing a train to Manchester, running a mass participation 10K, then train home, bit more GT5, then walked to my local beer specialist to get some posh German beers (mainly for the swingtop bottles, but as a bonus they taste great too, and picked up a chinese and watched Top Gun

My sentiments exactly; where on earth does Scott get the energy for everything? My theory is that nasa is working on some top secret energy drug and Scott is taking home some samplers.

I wasn't nearly so productive. I spent most of the time cleaning and cataloguing my master system collection.

Friday I went to my daughter's Field Trip in a local park; Saturday I primed and painted the hallway and Sunday I went to Church.
