Default Good Ebook Reader for PDF's and Jpg Magazine Scans

Hi Guys, looking to get an ebook reader but was hoping to find one that can handle pdf and magazine scans in jpg format. I know a cheap tablet would prob be better but hoping to use in work and we not allowed tabs only ebook readers. I have tried to google this but most people not that bothered about these features but I guess most of us on here have a collection of old computer magazine scans so would see if any of you have any ideas.

I'm thinking that the Sony PRS-T1 would do the trick but open to anything that does the job. It would still also need to function as an ebook reader as I go through a load of books in work, I have also got a large collection of Epubs that read on my phone and DS so the reader would ideally need to support this as don't want to reformat my entire collection.

    Thanks in advance.

The kindle does them quite well but ideally the bigger the screen the better for pdf and jpg support or the text can appear too small to read and zooming and scrolling is awkward.

If you go kindle get the one with the big screen, is it the DX?

    Cheers Mike,

Got a few kindles in the family in the progress of sweet talking people to have a lend first, however quite tempted by the Sony as I like to be different but if when I test the kindle its good will go with that.

The original Nook is the best for reading, IMO. I just don't like much else about it. I think there is an online converter for PDF to ePUB.
