I just finished it and loved it. So many old school themes in there for a sci-fi book.

Yes I read this a few months ago. It's a very entertaining light read. I hope the author makes a sequel. Lots of retro love in this book. I believe the All Gen Gamers interviewed him recently. I think my favorite part was where the older brother threw his younger brother up in the air during a football match and broke his arm. Oh wait sorry that's UK's upcoming Novel. LOL
