What goes well with an episode of RGRU? Well a nice slice of Raspberry Pi of course. Here it is in all of it's video glory UK Mike's Unboxing Extravaganza! This should be a nice treat for all of those that sadly missed the latest live news this month. More videos coming soon!

Blimey only just got through the last one. Downloading for the work drives now.

My Pi was dispatched yesterday. Now to get the emulation running eh? Let us know how you get on Mike. How many emulators have been compiled for the ARM chip?

Cool - my Raspberry Pi arrived today I haven't got past unboxing it yet.

On a totally separate note another great podcast guys. Guess I've had a good 24 hours a new RGR podcast and a new Raspberry Pi.

The start to the top ten is great I love the way Scott kept starting again. I like his definition of retro too, although I've never bought a console for my kid so by Scott's definition my Wii and 3DS are retro. My definition is that something is retro when when the true classics shine through. That works for anything, cars, consoles, TV eras... So if you can do a top ten of the true classics then it must be retro. I never had a Dreamcast so I have no idea by the way.

    Carry on.

Pleasantly surprised to see Crazy Taxi come out on top. Without a shadow of a doubt that is my most played Dreamcast game.
Loved it the day it came out and still play it regularly today.

Oh and I couldn't help noticing how you guys talked about possibly doing a best video games magazines top 10 in the future.
Since only one of you is from the UK, I'm guessing both SoCal Mike and Scott might have missed a bunch of the top British magazines, which always have been my favorites even though I'm from Belgium myself.
They always felt very different from most US magazines to me.

So to help you guys decide and possibly discover some incredible magazines from the past, I hope you don't mind me posting my little site here.
    http://www.outofprintarchive.com/
Besides articles that can be read on the site itself, you will also find cbz editions of the full magazines in the "magazines" section.
Those can be used with various comic book readers on pretty much any device you have.
Just select the optimal resolution version and enjoy!

Thanks for the link. I'm pretty sure we talked about the site in an early news segment.

I know I've used it before anyway.
