    I finally played a game I had lusted after in my youth. Was Necromancer worth the wait?

    I played the shit out of that game back then on my Atari 800XL (and a friend's Atari 800). Fantastically original game, great graphics, and a really cool soundtrack. I never played the C64 version, but I assume it was pretty much the same as the Atari version. Nice review, Mike. Save the crying trees!!!

    When I finally picked up an XEGS a few years ago, this is one of the games that came in the package - definitely my favorite on the system. Awesome game.
    If you can't do it with 8 bits, you don't need to do it.
