Default Prototype: SMS Korean Jurassic Park.

I was cataloging the games on one of my Korean Mega drive multi-carts when I ran across this little prototype game made by Korean developer Open. This is the same developer that made several Super Mario clones for the Sega Master System. I googled myself to death trying to find information about the game but had no luck. Can anyone help me find out if this game has been dumped yet? I know that SMS Power have dumped several Korean games like this but they don't have this one in their list of Korean SMS games. Any information would be appreciated.

Well I'm in contact with some people over at Hardcore Gaming 101. They have cataloged what they have thought to be a complete listing of all games by Open Software. They have never heard of it so they are going to ask one of the developers at Open about it. If you want to follow the progress the thread is here: http://hg101.proboards.com/index.cgi...ad=6819&page=8
It starts at the bottom of thread page 8 and continues into page 9.

I also posted about it on the SMS Power forums but haven't received a response from them yet. A member over there by the name of Bock has dumped several of the Korean roms but I haven't heard anything from him yet. I will keep you posted.

Speaking of Hardcore Gaming 101, have you checked out their book yet? Freaking awesome read.

Bock is definitely the right person when it comes to SMS prototypes. He was actually away this weekend at the Sega 8Bit meet up, which may have been why he hasn't replied. I'm sure one of the mods over there would be interested in dumping it if it hasn't been dumped yet.

Hope you find something out. I find it pretty fascinating to think about all those "could have been" games out there sitting abandon and incomplete. Potential ground breaking hits that never saw the light of day for whatever reason. Maybe you found a remnant of one of those games and just saved it from completely disappearing into nothingness. Heady stuff man.
