    Default End of Nintendo power

According to some sources NP is over with; http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/08/...nintendo-power

While like so many others I hadn't had a use for it since the NES, it was an amazing resource back then. While it was Nintendo controlled it was more than just an advertisement, the Zelda map comes to mind!

This made me real sad when I heard it. I have always been a bit of a Nintendo fan boy and Nintendo Power was the magazine for Nintendo fanboys. I still got the book every month and I will miss putting on some game soundtracks and sitting down to read the latest issue. So, I guess they are going to hype the Wii U for four months then kill the thing. Sad.

It's sad to see another publication go, but it really is a sign of the times.

I honestly haven't even bothered with Nintendo Power since the SNES days. I didn't even know it was still around TO die. Shows how much I pay attention to Nintendo's doings. lol

Yeah, how great would it have been if NP had drawn me back in with the Wii or the DS, 3DS, but they never put it in front of me.
