    Default Not so much about shipping, but a non-paying bidder. Help?

    A buyer recently bought a pair of my imports, and I sent him the invoice 10 days ago. I still have no response, and no payment. I'm afraid I will have to leave him negative feedback if he does not at least reply to my e-mails soon.


    What I have to ask is:

    1. Is 2 weeks enough time to give before leaving negative feedback? I normally expect paypal within 3 days of auction's end, so it's already well past that.


    2. If I leave him appropriate feedback, will he get the chance to leave retaliatory feedback? If he does, is there a way to have this removed?


    These questions are mostly for Mike, but I want everyone's input especially on the first part. Thanks!

    If it were me, I would send one more email and give him 24 hours to respond. After that, in order to not leave a neg (especially here) I send a message saying that "I am going to forget this transaction ever took place" and NOT leave a neg, but tell as many people here as possible in PM. It's just what I have had to do in the past. This actually happened but it was over a month until I heard from the buyer. I stuck to my guns and did not sell to him, and told Mike about it.

    I might have been too nice about it. Negative feedback serves a purpose in the long run.

    I would definitely tell Mike all the details asap and see if he can help you with the situation before anything else. If it's someone with a good history, then there could have been a personal situation or emergency.
    If a buyer has a history of NPBs but no one leaves a negative feedback or alerts anyone publically then how is the rest of the community supposed to know? Buyers get a automatic bid notice, a notice when they win, as well as an invoice from the seller for starters, and maybe a seller needs to send a reminder notice but... No seller should have to send multiple emails after that, especially on here, just to get a buyer to respond IMHO. I'm sorry you are dealing with this.

    While there are extenuating circumstances, generally speaking, other then feedback I can't really think of any other way to alert sellers to non paying or problem bidders especially when there are 1500+ members involved. Other then them being booted off the site after notifying Mike, of course.

    Problem buyers aren't welcome here - let them be Feepay's problem.

    Default non paying bidder

    I have had the same thing happen its been about a week and the buyer wont reply,he won quite a few of my auctions and still no response. he had 4 negatives at that time ,probably more now,what should I do?

    Ah Miguelbosquet.

    Yeah he got site banned I think so start relisting.

    I gave him a couple negatives that were well deserved. He bought $125 worth of stuff and then kept jerking me around and finally just quit responding.

    Yeah he didn't pay us either. That is okay though I cut him some fantastic deals on N64 carts and he couldn't even pay I all ready relisted them and sold for more so all is good.

    I figured we were in trouble when he wanted to send a Money Order from canada I haven't had any one do that in years!
