Here’s 13 minuets of Metro: Last Light

You remember Metro: 2033? Of course you do; it was that game with the gas masks and the mutants and the RUSSIANS! Russians are awesome.

Anyways, 4A Games is hard at work on the sequel, Metro: Last Light, and if this gameplay video has anything to say, Metro: Last Light is certainly looking a lot more furious than its predecessor. Action is prevalent in the entire gameplay video, from miniguns to train chases. Elements of stealth are still there, and to be honest I’m pretty sure the earlier sections of the demo could have been done without the need for shooty-shooty bang bang, but someone just felt the need to show up me minigun. I was happy to be obliged none the less.

The game still looks beautiful, even in its alpha stage. I never got much time with Metro: 2033 (I didn’t have much confidence in my PC back then), but I’ll have to keep an eye out for Metro: Last Light when it drops sometime in 2012 for everything doing HD resolutions (including the Wii-U!).
